  Every day we interact with a piece that holds memories and value to us, each containing its own history because of the labor, care and time, loaded on each medium, this exhibition holds a unique level of intention and weight, an intimate declaration that explore togetherness and attachment. I truly believe in the work of these artists, and the important role they play widening means to a cultural exchange enriching our lives profoundly.

Our unforgettable  European 2015 summer tour took us the unbelievable amount of a 13 flights:

England. London
France Bargemon South of France
Monaco, Monte Carlo
Slovakia, Kosariska
Vienna, Austria
and in between connections; Frankfurt, Germany, Geneva Switzerland.

Our stay with Michele and Guy Beddington at Le Mas du Mûrier was simply divine. … where I just wanted to find a haven to regroup and take some time out for myself.

Le Mas du Mûrier & Beddington Fine Art are located in Bargemon in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern FranceMichèle and Guy Beddington purchased Le Mas du Mûrier in 1995, a 19th century listed farmhouse circa 1850 and commenced transforming it into their principal residence. “Work in the gardens immediately started around the house with the assistance of the British landscape architect, Nigel Scott-Harden, the remaining seven hectares of oak and olive groves lining wide terraces retain their natural Provençal charm and are a haven for the indigenous flora of lilies and orchids, bordered by a romantic stream and rock pools that descend to the foot of the valley.” Michele said.

From 2007, Michèle and Guy, who have a long-established Beddington Fine Art a Contemporary Art gallery on the Ramparts of Bargemon, began displaying Sculptures, Ceramics and Installations upon their land, and, in 2010, for the gallery’s 10th anniversary, the Sculpture Gardens were opened to the public featuring some seventy exhibits by established and emerging artists from all over the world.

IMG_8112Michèle and Guy Beddington purchased Le Mas du Mûrier in 1995, a 19th century listed farmhouse circa 1850 and commenced transforming it into their principal residence. They are continuously pursuing their ambition to evolve this synthesis of art and nature so as to ensure that their property remains one of the leading destinations in the PACA region for Art and Garden lovers. They have added a beautiful pool of dark green stone and planted the courtyard garden around it.

Celia Scott was born in Bristol and after her schooling in Cambridge studied at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham and University College London. She has worked on portrait heads and constructions both in the U.S.A. and London for the last twenty years. She now works in Barbara Hepworth’s old studio in London’s Belsize Park.

Scott has exhibited internationally including a solo show in Manhattan, New York. She has work in various collections including the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, the British Library, The Dean Centre, Edinburgh and Prince Charles’s private collection. She has received commissions from the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, Sir Colin St John Wilson and Charles Jencks.

Can‘t get over the  magic of the Beddington’s family, I am grateful we can’t thank them enough and of course Bargemon in general;  such of unique place where you will discover a breathtaking art world ,  simple, pure but at its highest level … it’s hard to say goodbye but sooner than later will say HELLO again!
