Land artEarthworks (coined by Robert Smithson), or Earth art is an art movement in which landscape and the work of art are inextricably linked. It is also an art form that is created in nature, using natural materials such as soilrock (bed rock, boulders, stones), organic media (logs, branches, leaves), and water with introduced materials such as concretemetal, asphalt, or mineral pigments. Sculptures are not placed in the landscape, rather, the landscape is the means of their creation. (wikipedia)

“I am, by default, the illustrator of my ideas, even though I seem to lie to myself constantly. Creating is the most “bestial” process of my conclusions. It is the energy of starting something without exactly knowing the actual outcome. My environment are constants in my aesthetic proposal, which is tied to the parallel need to understand common sense and making my interpretation of it more or less acceptable or understandable. Creating is the experience of being constantly unsatisfied. When this happens, I should redo and lie to myself again.”
Rodolfo Vanmarcke “New Normals” series: Single, microcosmic photographs of a grenade, pill and discarded water bottle that speak volumes about the cultures and societies they represent. As Vanmarcke said in his artist statement: “’New Normals’ is the violent shake of what has become usual, which has neutralized the wounds, consequences of the events, and extinguished the common interest for a better world.”

The “juried process” is a necessary career step. In order to help build and develop their artistic resume’ artists will find it necessary to enter juried art competitions on a regular basis. By entering and being accepted into juried art competitions, this becomes a “third party” endorsement of the artist’s skill and artistic talents. It is through juried art competitions and juried art shows that an artist’s career and professional development will progress. By successfully participating the artist will then be taken more seriously by art galleries, art collectors. It is a progression and a process that takes time for an artist to learn and to adapt to in order to succeed.

Part of my IRREVERSIBLE mission is to expose, unite and celebrate both past and present innovators; I am constantly challenging myself finding ways that helps us to achieve an universal message; building a strong foundation and a long-lasting legacy for our future generations.
There is a perceived leadership crisis in both the private and public sectors, and leadership theories abound. Institutions have called into question our very notions of what leadership is, who can rightly be called a leader, or why leadership matters. Is for this reason that today we have this unique opportunity to meet, greet and discuss trust, vision, responsibility, empathy, and the ability to share knowledge.
No single leader can save the day in the larger society, effective leadership is based on empowerment, respect, team building and collaboration.
